Nashville Public Library serves as a vital hub of connection, as a gathering space, as well as a catalyst for meaningful interaction and important conversations. The Votes for Women Room was created to mark the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the constitution. Since its creation, over 42,575 people have visited the exhibit and library staff have conducted over 100 programs for groups.
The space serves as a place to explore the societal impact of local history and invites contemplation of the future through scheduled engagements educating visitors on injustice and human rights. Each year 10,000 visitors experience this important space.
Nashville After Zone Alliance ( NAZA) is a public-private partnership that provides funding and capacity building to community partners to increase access to transformative learning experiences for youth during out-of-school time.
