Join a group of committed library champions.
The Carnegie Society is an exclusive group of civic-minded individuals dedicated to making our city a more vibrant, literate, and connected place to live and work. The library offers resources and services for everyone free of charge. No other institution addresses as many needs as the library does – made possible by Nashville Public Library supporters and the collaboration between Metro Government and the Library Foundation.
Membership starts at $125/month. Carnegie Society Sustainers provide a consistent stream of revenue for the library to rely on. Monthly membership is the easiest and most efficient way to invest in the vital programs that make our library a community treasure.

The Hallmark Event: The Carnegie Society Book Club
The annual Carnegie Society Book Club is Nashville’s most interesting and exclusive book club. For members only, the Book Club explores an exciting text, such as last year’s powerful choice “Hamnet”, with special guest Eddie George and members of the Nashville Shakespeare Company.
