Nashville, TN – The Next Chapter Society (NCS), the emerging leaders group of the Nashville Public Library Foundation (NPLF), is launching its 2026 t-shirt campaign to support the Foundation’s mission to fund, advocate for, and amplify the Nashville Public Library (NPL) to power literacy, life skills, and connection for all. This campaign brings together the enthusiasm of more than 50 authors, musicians, music venues, influential Nashvillians, and “bookfluencers” who are joining this initiative, showcasing the broad support this important institution has on the lives of many with the searchable hashtag #ComeForMusicStayForNPL.

“We are so excited about our shirt this year,” said Next Chapter Society Chair Becca Zeglovitch. “It’s great to see so many people rally around not only our beloved library system, but also a local artist and printer. This campaign brings so many people together to support the library!”

The fundraiser features a limited-edition t-shirt and tote bag designed by local artist Wesley Hall, whose work can be seen on Instagram at @pizzadadcomic, and printed locally by Friendly Arctic. Hall’s design reflects the spirit and mission of the NCS: to support the library in fun and creative ways. Hall said he was “an immediate YES” when asked to design a shirt for the library for the first time.

“I’ve been a lover of the library since I was a child,” Hall said. “My dad was a librarian for several Nashville colleges while I was growing up, and about three years ago I began working part-time as a mentor for Studio NPL.” Studio NPL is an innovative, technology-driven learning environment for teens aged 12 to 18, with programming housed at multiple NPL locations and a mobile Studio that travels to additional branches.

As part of the campaign, the Foundation will be partnering with dozens of influential Nashville residents and library lovers to promote the shirt. The Next Chapter Society Instagram account (@nextchaptersociety) will also be hosting a naming contest for this year’s cartoon mascot after the design is unveiled.

Merchandise is available from Oct. 11 to Oct. 24 through Friendly Arctic at bit.ly/comeformusicstayfornpl
