NPL’s Courtyard Concert series returns with another stellar lineup of local artists performing R&B, jazz, folk, and alternative rock.
Join us at the Main Library in our Popular Materials area on the first floor on Tuesdays from 11:45 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Sept. 1 – Oct. 13.
The Courtyard Concerts series is a fun and free lunchtime getaway. Come for an up-close music experience with an eclectic mix of local music, musicians, and songwriters.
About Esi: Esi (AY-see) is a first generation Ghanaian American. She’s a Nashville-born songwriter whose sound broadens the alternative R&B and neo-soul lineage. She’s opened nationally for Kirk Franklin, The Roots, Gary Clark Jr., CimaFunk, and Red Clay Strays. She’s performed at the Blue Note Tokyo, The Fillmore, the Grand Ole Opry, and more. At just 22 years old, Esi is a force in the world of songwriting, notably working in music advocacy as a member of the Recording Academy.
