NPL’s Courtyard Concert series returns with another stellar lineup of local artists performing R&B, jazz, folk, and alternative rock.
Join us at the Main Library in our Popular Materials area on the first floor on Tuesdays from 11:45 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Sept. 1 – Oct. 13.
The Courtyard Concerts series is a fun and free lunchtime getaway. Come for an up-close music experience with an eclectic mix of local music, musicians, and songwriters.
About Walker Burroughs: Walker Burroughs makes music steeped in a choice of joy and hope, composed of folky, wooden sounds that tell stories of life and love through a grounded connection to the natural world. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Walker grew up loving every kind of music except for country, but now credits his bluegrassy-folk conversion to the likes of Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton, and John Denver. His music is full of stories from his years-long journey toward understanding who he is, while reflecting back on important and funny moments in his life.
