Shawn is an accomplished nonprofit executive and social entrepreneur. Her career has taken her from hands-on work with low-income immigrant families to leadership roles in complex global organizations. She comes to us with almost 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, development, and communications.  

Shawn has been with the Nashville Public Library Foundation since 2017. When moving from New York City to Nashville, one of her first stops was the Richland Park Library to get her NPL library card. Shawn, her husband, and three children can frequently be found at library programs or getting lost in the stacks of books. She loves being a part of an organization that is committed to creating a stronger and more equitable Nashville.
