Nashville, Tenn. – Next Chapter Society, the emerging leaders group of the Nashville Public Library Foundation (NPLF), is launching its 2025 t-shirt campaign to support the Foundation’s mission to fund, advocate, and amplify the Nashville Public Library, powering literacy, life skills, and connection for all. This campaign brings together the enthusiasm of more than 50 local civic leaders, authors, influential Nashvillians, and “bookfluencers” who are joining this initiative, showcasing the broad support this important institution has on the lives of many with the searchable hashtag #AdventureStartsAtNPL.
“The annual t-shirt campaign is one of our most exciting initiatives. It brings together an amazing community of library supporters while raising crucial funds for the Nashville Public Library Foundation,” said Next Chapter Society Chair Becca Zeglovitch. “These funds help power a wide range of programs that inspire, educate, and enrich lives across our beloved city. This year, we’re aiming to raise $15,000. Every shirt sold gets us one step closer!”
The fundraiser features a limited-edition t-shirt and tote bag designed by local artist Andrew Cook, owner of EZCO, and printed locally by Friendly Arctic. Cook’s design reflects the spirit and mission of the Next Chapter Society: to support the library in fun and creative ways. A generous portion of proceeds will support the Foundation’s investment in vital library programs and resources. Cook said he was “thrilled” to be asked to design a shirt for the second time; his first design was featured in 2024.
“Since I was a small child, the library has been an important part of my life and education. It’s a cornerstone of my creative spirit; the place that taught me to think and dream big, to be curious and inquisitive, and to explore,” he said. “Without the library as a kid, I would’ve missed out on so much. I’m thankful it exists, and always happy to donate my time and skillset to those who are trying to guarantee it continues to exist as a resource for kids and adults alike, in perpetuity.”
The fundraiser will run from Sept. 26 to Oct. 11, with t-shirts available in unisex, women’s, and youth sizes. A limited-edition tote bag and art print are also available. Merchandise can be purchased through Friendly Arctic at bit.ly/adventurestartsatnpl and will be shipped in mid-October.
