Picnic with the Library, the Nashville Public Library Foundation’s family event, raises critical funds to support life-changing children’s early literacy programming, like Nashville Public Library’s Wishing Chair Productions, story times, Puppet Truck, mentorship programs, and early literacy initiatives reaching more than 100,000 children and their families.
On Sunday, April 26th, we will gather once again for the 11th annual Picnic with the Library! Spin a little magic at the Main Library during a Charlotte’s Web–themed afternoon of family-friendly fun. Enjoy enchanting story time with Wishing Chair Productions, creative crafts, music, face painting, delicious treats, visits from beloved children’s book characters, cocktails for grown-ups, and more all woven together for a truly memorable day.
Picnic with the Library is co-chaired by Kendra and Terry Deas, Memorie White-Johnson, Ryan and Barrett Wood.
