2025 Literary Award Gala Honoring Amor Towles

Montgomery Bell Academy, 4001 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205
Yearly

Join us for the 21st Anniversary of the Literary Award Gala honoring Amor Towles.

As many of you are aware, the Main Library remains closed due to a fire in the parking garage this past June. Without a reopening date yet set and a certain impact to parking, we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to secure an alternative location for the Literary Award Weekend Gala.

Please note the venue change for this year’s Literary Award Gala
Montgomery Bell Academy
Currey Hall, 4001 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205

We are incredibly grateful to the community members who have stepped up to help us during this time, particularly our board chair, Lucy Haynes and Montgomery Bell Academy. We are incredibly grateful to MBA for their generous in-kind offer to host us. Not only does this provide us with a beautiful setting, but it also highlights the spirit of community that makes this event so meaningful.

The Literary Award Weekend will culminate in the Gala in the Currey Hall at Montgomery Bell Academy. This event promises delightful cocktails, conversation, and a delicious dinner in an elegant setting. NPLF, along with Literary Award Weekend co-chairs Tiffany and Alfred Degrafinreid, Lee Pratt and Neil Krugman, Lindsay and Tyson Moore, invite you to join us in celebrating Amor Towles.

Established in 2004, the Nashville Public Library Literary Award recognizes distinguished authors for their illustrious contributions to the world of books, literacy, and reading.
