It's Time for the THANK-A-THON

During Nashville Public Library Foundation’s 2025 Thank-a-Thon, the community to expressed gratitude to local elected officials. More than 4000 library lovers wrote postcards and sent messages of thanks in support of Nashville Public Library. Library Ambassadors then delivered envelopes filled with heartfelt notes and messages to each Metro Council member.

Gratitude is good for you—join in the fun this year as we collect thank you notes for the wonderful people who make Nashville Public Library a community treasure!

Express the value you see in their work. This includes the behind-the-scenes roles of Library staff that keep our library system clean, safe, and accessible for all. Every role is vital to the Library’s success.

Enlist your friends and family! Fill out this form to request a packet of thank you notes sent to your home or office. When all the library-lovers you know have written a note of gratitude, simply return to your home branch in the envelope provided. Deadline to request postcards is March 27. Please return completed postcards to your local branch by April 9.
