Founded in 1997, the Nashville Public Library Foundation expands what’s possible for the Library and thus for our community. By raising critical funds, as city dollars only go so far, the Foundation allows the Library to meet our community member’s evolving needs.

The Library is always looking for support with shelving, scanning and pulling books, as well as opportunities to help patrons. You can also join a Friends of the Library group by connecting with your branch location and branch manager.
