The famous tale of the Princess and the Frog is retold by Wishing Chair Productions.  Fun for all ages, this musical features the fabulous Tichenor Marionettes! In the Children's Theater. Running Time: 35 minutes.

*Please note: There will be no shows on the following Saturdays: February 20 & 27.

The Main Library's children theatre programming builds upon the enchantment of the 70 years of marionette tradition at the Nashville Public Library. Countless shows have been staged throughout the years, including those by Tichenor and the library's current artists.

The Foundation supports the acquisition of materials and production of puppets for new shows which are funded through the generous support of Carol and Bobby Frist.

"My real education, the superstructure, the details, the true architecture, I got out of the public library. For an impoverished child whose family could not afford to buy books, the library was the open door to wonder and achievement, and I can never be sufficiently grateful that I had the wit to charge through that door and make the most of it."

-Isaac Asimov
