Arts at Main is a series of free art exhibitions at the Main Library.

Bringing Books to Life! is a free preschool literacy program that trains teacher, models instructional techniques, family literacy workshops, provides story times, curriculum supplements and visits from the Puppet Truck. 

Puppet Theatre at the library builds upon the enchantment of the 70 years of marionette tradition begun when Tom Tichenor staged an original marionette version of the classic Puss in Boots at the Nashville Public Library.

T.O.T.A.L.  is a select group of high school students that advocates for the library in the Middle Tennessee community, designs programs for teens and represents the library at community events.  

Summer Concert Series presents free musical performances by noted musicians at the Main Library.
